Symptoms of Realities is an independent platform to produce, digitally release and promote music and videos born out of a darker spectrum of realities. It is a sanctuary for a variety of artists that have one thing in common: They investigate and express their innermost emotions. Not to cherish and cultivate them, but to release, heal and serve as an example as well as a warning to those who threaten the ways of radical honest (self) exploration!

 

Symptoms of Realities was founded many years ago to release the work and projects of Ivo S. Bijker. After an initial start releasing an album from the band HAAH and some other projects, nothing much happened until in 2024, when things started to accelerate. That year marked the birth of several projects and bands that you are now (or very soon) able to experience through Symptoms of Realities.

 

Symptoms of Realities is dedicated to radical self exploration through art! We follow no doctrine nor do we worship any god or master. We are not afraid to have an opinion. We do not hesitate to challenge or insult, but not as a purpose in itself. We focus on dialogue, inwards and outwards. We regard politics as a higher form of spirituality and in that sense we do not shy away from having bold views, but rather ask bold questions! If you would want to put a label on where we are in the political spectrum, We would say "The Radical Centre".

 

Our art finds its source in the most dark and horrifying, as that is another way to reach higher realms of existence, maybe even the only way ...
